Please know my team and I can help your company achieve significant corporate wide energy cost savings, while attaining either Net Zero Carbon (“NZC”) emission status and/or up to a Platinum LEEDS rating for your selected facilities.” Steve Wilburn, CEO of VerdeWatts
Here is just one example of the disruption that is occurring in the multifamily and commercial building market segments.
VerdeWatts and our team of experts will guide your management team through the design and implementation of Environmental Sustainability Projects for Net Zero or LEEDs certification.
At the end of your project, through a verification and review process by the Green Building Council (GBC), VerdeWatts will ensure that your company will obtain the requisite awarded points that correspond to your desired level of LEED certification: Certified (40-49 points), Silver (50-59 points), Gold (60-79 points) and Platinum (80+ points). To achieve Net Zero Carbon certification, the project must achieve a carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) balance of zero for 12 months.
A Net-Zero Carbon (NZC) building is defined as: a highly energy efficient building that produces on-site, or procures, enough verified carbon-free renewable energy to meet building operations energy consumption annually. Projects must have twelve consecutive months of performance data demonstrating a carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) balance of zero.
To achieve LEED certification, a project earns points by adhering to prerequisites and credits that address carbon, energy, water, waste, transportation, materials, health and indoor environmental quality. There are several levels of certification: Certified (40-49 points), Silver (50-59 points), Gold (60-79 points) and Platinum (80+ points).
